A chilling video from a security camera shows two distressed dogs barking at a ghostly figure that appears to glide in the background.

The footage was taken in Mexico on November 7 and shows two guard dogs next to a heavy-duty vehicle in the early hours of the morning. Both dogs are seen jumping up and howling in distress. After a few seconds, a white figure emerges from the darkness on the other side of the lorry.

The dogs continue to bark as it slowly crosses the frame, but neither of them approach the figure. The footage has been shared by Mexican news outlets on X, sparking several theories about what the figure might be.

According to TV Azteca, some locals believe it to be a mythical creature known as La Llorona (The Crying Woman). In Mexican folklore, La Llorona is said to roam near bodies of water mourning the children she drowned after discovering her husband’s infidelity.

Those who hear her cries are said to be doomed to suffer misfortune or death, according to legend. However, there were also people online who thought the footage simply showed a normal person dressed in white.

This comes after Ring doorbell footage went viral, appearing to show a ghostly figure lurking around a remote property. The clip was shared to the Ghosts Of London group on Facebook, where people from around the world submit footage or pictures of something they believe to be supernatural.

While the video may appear ordinary at first, those with a keen eye will spot a white figure wandering in the background. The individual who shared the footage said: “Please watch the top right hand side to see what is being pointed out here. I was notified this morning that my Ring camera recorded this in the middle of the night.

“Just moved out to the middle of nowhere. I’ve gotten a creepy vibe at times but this is unsettling. There are no neighbours around and my house is on a fenced-in hill that makes it impossible to get up to, and is surrounded by forest. Any insight would be appreciated.”
