A Clydebank man was found with serious injuries 20 miles away after he was reportedly abducted in an Audi that was later torched and abandoned.
Cops have launched a probe after a 25-year-old turned up at Forth Valley Hospital in Larbert with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The man was forced into a white Audi S3 quattro on Milton Mains Court in Clydebank around 6.30pm on Wednesday, November 20.
The motor was then found burnt-out the following day in Dunning, Perth and Kinross, 40 miles away from the West Dunbartonshire town.
Detectives are appealing for information after the incident was reported to officers on Monday, November 25.
Detective Constable Gordon McCready said: ” We have been carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened. We are appealing to anyone who may have information, saw the white Audi, or noticed any unusual activity to come forward.
