AUSTIN, Texas — Two people are dead after a head-on collision in western Travis County near Jonestown Saturday afternoon.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), the crash occurred just after 4 p.m. near the intersection of FM 1431 and Pecan Drive. Three people in total were involved.
Two adults were pronounced dead at the scene just after 4:30 p.m. Travis County STAR Flight transferred the third patient to the hospital, where the extent of their injuries is unknown.
