BLUEFIELD, W.Va. -Small Business Saturday highlights entrepreneurs of all kinds, including ones a bit on the younger side.

CoopDogg’s Beads & More is a small business run by Cooper and Maizy, two young cousins working together to sell gifts and jewelry at an affordable price.

The girls say that spending time together is their favorite part of owning a business.

“I would say probably being able to spend time together as cousins, like outside of family gatherings and stuff,” says Maizy.

Cooper agrees with her cousin, adding: “Probably just the same thing and the traveling around and meeting new people. It’s just been really fun.”

This business started as a way to raise funds for Cooper’s Girls Scouts troop to take a trip in June but has since grown into a lasting venture.
