Every ticket for Hibs’ match with Kilmarnock will cost just £5, the Easter Road club has announced.

David Gray’s side, who lifted themselves off the foot of the Premiership table with a storming 3-0 victory against Motherwell, are offering all fans entry for just a fiver to the clash on December 29 – as they aim for a sell attendance of more than 20,000 in what could be a vital game at the foot of the table. Both clubs have struggled so far this campaign, but Killie fans making the trip to the capital will be boosted by also being able to take advantage of the cut price deal.

In a statement, Hibs say: “In what will be our final match of 2024, we are aiming for a capacity crowd inside Easter Road – with the discounted ticket campaign focussed on making football more affordable for supporters around Christmas. As part of the campaign, all travelling supporters will benefit too – with all Kilmarnock away tickets priced at £5. This will be the second time in recent years that we have offered tickets for just £5, the first of which was back in March 2022. Further initiatives have followed including Friday Night Football for £10 and discounted tickets on Halloween as we continue our effort to make football as affordable as possible for our supporters.”

The club are also offering season ticket holders the opportunity to book into their Behind The Goals matchday sports bar for a discounted rate of just £5, whilst non-Season Ticket Holders can purchase a Behind The Goals executive ticket for £20 which includes a padded seat and access to the Behind The Goals sports bar pre-match, post-match and at half-time.
