Tonight’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! saw spectators hooked as another contestant was sent packing from the wilds of Australia, marking the third celebrity to leave the 2024 series. The camp’s numbers thinned once again with a fresh face having to say goodbye to jungle life.

After the departures of Jane Moore and Dean McCullough, another star has fallen victim to the public’s vote on the beloved ITV programme.

Presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly broke the news, casting a shadow over the dwindling group as they grappled with the exit of a campmate, reports Plymouth Live.

The bottom two came down to Oti Mabuse and N-Dubz star Tulisa – but it was Tulisa who failed to receive enough votes from the public, meaning they were next to go home.

After hearing the result, Tulisa hugged her campmates and told them “I love you” before reassuring Love Island’s Maura Higgins by saying: “I’m Happy, I’m Happy.”

“I’m not going to lie,” she added. “It’s tough in there – so leaving is also a happy thing… Food!”

Speaking to Ant and Dec, she continued: “It feels like a whirlwind – it doesn’t feel real.”

She also reflected on how she’d changed, admitting she felt “more grateful” for the good things in her life.

A lot of fans weren’t impressed with the public’s decision, with one writing on X (Twitter): “oti in the bottom and tulisa gone i hate the british public.” (sic)

A second viewer tweeted: “OTI AND TULISA BOTTOM 2 the British public never fail to make me feel ashamed.” (sic)

A third viewer fumed: “WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT WAS BETWEEN OTI AND TULISA WHY AREN’T PEOPLE VOTING THEM.” (sic)

One more person lamented: “Absolutely gutted with that result. Would of had Tulisa in the final for sure. Such a beautiful soul and seems like she would be amazing to be around.” (sic)

Meanwhile, hilarity ensued in camp tonight when Maura Higgins was startled by a rodent scurrying under her bed, leading her to proclaim: “I’m not really up for a Trial at this time of the night!”

Tulisa chimed in on camp conditions, suggesting tighter camp housekeeping rules, as she said: “Camp maintenance should be putting everything back in the trunk. They gotta step it up!”

The impact of Dean’s departure was also felt, with Strictly star Oti Mabuse fondly recalling: “He just brought us all together, he was the life of the camp.”

Danny Jones was left in shock at Dean’s departure, remarking: “I thought he was final four, final three!”

Tulisa spoke out about the noticeably calmer camp atmosphere, stating: “You can definitely feel that Dean has left the camp. It’s almost a little bit too chilled out, dare I say.”

She jokingly added her longing for some early morning theatrics, saying: “Didn’t think I’d ever see the day that I’d be waiting for some musical theatre in the morning!”

In the latest episode, Alan Halsall and Coleen Rooney bravely took on The Farmyard of Fear Bushtucker Trial.

The challenge involved transferring ‘jungle nasties’ from a grim silo into a wheelbarrow, before weighing them on jungle scales, with 10 stars available to win in a 10-minute window.

The pair showed their mettle by securing all 10 stars for the camp, achieving it with a minute to spare, much to the delight of their fellow campmates.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV and ITVX. I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked airs live on ITV2 every night directly after the ITV1 show.
