I’m A Celeb campmate Danny Jones’ wife Georgia admits she has faced the most challenging month in their marriage, as the McFly frontman has been in Australia trying his luck at jungle life.
Just as Danny went on the ITV show, Georgia was forced to leave the house she loves, moving to a different home without her husband by her side – a decision she insists she made for their son.
Georgia has been married to Danny for a decade now, and won the Miss England title in 2007 just two years before the couple met. They share a six-year-old son together, Cooper, who could not be prouder of his dad facing his fears in the jungle, reports the Express.
Taking to Instagram, Georgia confessed to her following: “We have moved house whilst Danny is in the jungle, and I have done it on my own, and I am a broken woman, to say the least.
“I actually didn’t want to move from the house we lived in. I loved it there, but we do it for the kids, right? Anyway, I’m very, very emotional. I’ve had an emotional evening. It’s just a lot.”
She then urged fans to discuss I’m A Celeb and “not just me and my house move without my jungle husband here”.
The couple first met in 2009, when Georgia was at the start of her modelling career. She had already been crowned Miss England and went on to represent the country in the Miss World competition and finished in Miss World Talent’s top 18.
She often looks back fondly on her modelling career, describing it as “the best thing” she’s ever done.
When the couple first met it wasn’t all the fairytale that it is now, as Danny confessed to his I’m A Celeb campmates on Monday’s episode that it took him a year to get her to finally go out with him.
He recalled: “It took me a year to get her because I invited her out for a roast. It was just like clubbing, we couldn’t talk.
“I was like,” Do you wanna go to the pub tomorrow?” and she was like “Yeah”. I texted her in the morning and she was like “Sorry, I can’t make it.”
He continued: “And then weeks went on and she didn’t make it, couldn’t make it, turning me down. And I gave up in the end.
“Then about eleven months later she texted me saying “Do you wanna go out for a drink or get breakfast?” and I was like “Yes!”
The singer expressed to his campmates that their first date was 12 months after that night they first met.
Georgia spoke about the couple’s first interaction on the Never Have I Ever podcast with Joel Dommett and Hannah Cooper, admitting that when they first met she thought: “He was a bit of a d***, and I never really liked him”.
Confirming that Danny did try for a year to go out with her, she said: “I do like to drop that into conversation every now and again. He wanted me for a year.”
She also confessed that she didn’t really want to go on the date, and it wasn’t until her mum said: “‘Oh darling, what have you got to lose? Go on, go and enjoy yourself.'”
“I treated him mean, kept him keen – without realising. I didn’t know I was doing that,” she continued.

The pair got engaged in 2013, after four years of dating, as Danny proposed on the beach in Cyprus. They tied the knot the following year in a church in North Yorkshire.
