Air fryers have become a staple in kitchens across the UK, offering a time-saving, cost-effective, and healthier alternative to traditional frying and oven cooking.

For those yet to jump on the bandwagon, there are many offers still available post-Black Friday. One of them is the Living and Home 5L Touch Screen Air Fryer that is enjoying a 75 per cent discount at Debenhams.

Usually retailing at a whopping £166.66, it will now set you back just £41.50. With eight cooking modes for everything from chops and sweet potatoes to prawns, it is perfect for adding to your kitchen in time for Christmas cooking.

Using 360-degree circulation to ensure your food is cooked evenly, it also boasts temperature control ranging from 60-200 degrees Celsius, allowing for precision cooking. Its versatility allows you to fry, bake, grill, and roast with little to no oil

With a power consumption of only 1400 watts, it’s economical too, costing approximately 34p per hour to operate. That’s slightly cheaper than a conventional oven that costs around 49p to 98p per hour to operate.

The air fryer features a removable non-stick basket that’s easy to clean, as it is machine-washable, and comes with multiple safety features, including an automatic shut-off if it gets too hot. The convenient window allows you to monitor your cooking progress, and the ability to pause and resume the cooking process makes it user-friendly, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Although there aren’t many reviews, the feedback is predominantly positive, with one five-star review stating: “Speedy delivery, great air fryer, easy to use,” and noting its usefulness over the festive period: “Came in really handy for Christmas”.

The product, which can be purchased through Debenhams as a concession, will ultimately be provided by Living and Home. One review on the firm’s website reads: “This air fryer is just the right size for 2 people and is very versatile and easy to use.”

The retailer has earned itself a solid reputation over at TrustPilot with an average score of 3.5 out of 5 from upwards of 2,700 reviews, as one read: “Good selection and choice of products, competitively priced to suit all tastes and budgets. Item was well packed and dispatched promptly.”

However, there have been some gripes about customer service accessibility, for example, one review detailed: “Found a good product at an attractive price. The original shipment was apparently lost and communication was a bit of an effort from customer side. Chat bots and emails are frustrating – give customers someone to talk to! The replacement product was received eventually.”

Additionally, someone else expressed disappointment after purchasing a Living and Home air fryer via Debenhams noting it “wasn’t what I expected”.
