DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) – A baby monkey at the Blank Park Zoo in Iowa experienced her first snowfall, which was caught on camera.
Des Moines, where the zoo is located, got about an inch of snow Monday.
The baby monkey, 3-month-old Yumi, gave some snowflakes a taste test, nibbling a few bites off her mother’s back.
Yumi is a Japanese Macaque, which are often referred to as “snow monkeys.”
She was born at the Blank Zoo Park on Aug. 31 of this year.
