Take a look at the picture in the Reddit post below. Upon first look, it appears to be a standard winter woodland scene, filled with bare trees and a frosty ground scattered with fallen leaves.
But hidden somewhere within the image is a deer – and it’s your mission to locate it.
This puzzle doesn’t have a time limit, so you can take your time finding the adorable creature. However, pushing yourself to spot the deer within an allotted time will help hone your perception skills even more and could make you faster at solving similar puzzles in the future.
Hints
Spotting the deer requires a keen eye, but there are some strategies to aid your search. Clearly, the animal isn’t positioned at the forefront of the image, as that would make it too obvious, and it’s not hovering in the sky either – so concentrate on the middle section.
Consider what distinctive features of a deer might stand out amidst the earthy tones.
Solution
The deer can be found just left of centre, camouflaged among the trees. You may need to zoom in, but you should be able to see its body pressed against a tree, accompanied by a faint flash of white from its tail.
Reddit commenters described the puzzle as “hard”, but with persistence, they eventually managed to locate the deer. One commenter noted: “That one is hard. To the left of the centre, you can see the white on the tail, head facing down. Very hard to see.”
Another shared their experience: “See, I instantly noticed something was wrong there but there’s so few pixels it took me about two minutes to confirm whether it was actually the deer.”
