During a gripping I’m A Celebrity trial, medics dashed to Coleen Rooney’s aid.
The hit ITV series, helmed by presenting duo Ant and Dec, made its comeback on screens Tuesday (December 3) to catch up with the fresh set of celebs in the Aussie outback.
In the dramatic episode, it was crunch time for celebs as they competed for a precious ticket to Cyclone, offering immunity from the next two eliminations.
The Arcade of Agony awaited Danny Jones, GK Barry, Richard Coles, and Coleen Rooney. The stars each faced a grabber machine teeming with balls concealing tickets, which would be deposited into the collection box on a successful win.
Retrieving a coin from a box full of fish offal was essential for each attempt at the grabbing machines, where they had a ten-minute window to amass as many tickets as possible, reports the Express.
Post-trial, the top two celebs with a brimming ticket stash would be one step closer to bagging the Cyclone ticket. Adding to the challenge, their grabs were accompanied by unwelcome critters, and a hidden star – representing a meal for camp – was nestled amongst the grabbable balls.
However, proceedings took a spine-chilling twist for Coleen when her time in the booth expired, as she emerged exclaiming, “I’ve got one in my ear! “. Medics were called in to assist, using a syringe to safely extract the unwanted visitor from Coleen’s ear.
As Ant looked on in shock, he exclaimed: “Oh my god! It just jumped out! ” The incident left viewers at home squirming in discomfort, with one fan taking to X to say: “That bug in Coleen’s ear!.” Another commented: “That was horrible! Poor Coleen.” A third viewer reacted: “The way it just crawled out of her ear I’m sick!”
