SCOTT COUNTY, Va. – One person is dead after a plane crashes at a private airstrip in Virginia.
The Virginia State Police said the crash happened at around 2:51 p.m. on Dec. 4 in the 700 block of Davinci Drive in Scott County.
VSP said the pilot of the plane died in the crash, and the FAA and NTSB have been contacted.
