A Lanarkshire mum took home over £80 worth of festive goodies after a trolley dash competition at her local store.

Snappy Shopper brought excitement to Premier Westwood in East Kilbride, as Becky Mulligan raced against the clock in the Supermarket Sweep-style Snappy Store Dash on Wednesday (December 4).

Becky was given 60 seconds to grab as many items as possible and put them in her trolley, with the total cost covered by Snappy Shopper.

Alcohol, tobacco, and scratch cards were not included.

The stay-at-home mum was “buzzing” to take part in the competition, filling two baskets full of goodies containing household essentials and goodies just in time for Christmas – which totalled £86.87.

Becky said: “It was great fun, can’t wait to tell everyone about it. They won’t expect to see me.”

Becky was cheered on by colleagues from Premier Westwood, who were excited to watch the event take place.

Becky continued: “I’m so buzzing with all my Red Bull and goodies for the kids, I won’t need to go to my exercise class tonight.”
