Rod Stewart has taken another swipe at Gregg Wallace, just days after branding him a “tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully” for allegedly humiliating his wife Penny Lancaster on Celebrity MasterChef.

The latest jibe came when Rod, 79, was asked if he’d invite Gregg, 60, to his home for Christmas, and he responded with a scathing two-word insult: “What, yellow teeth! ”

The remark follows Rod’s earlier Instagram post, in which he accused Gregg of bullying Penny during her 2021 appearance on the show, writing: “Good riddance Wallace… You humiliated my wife when she was on the show, but you had that bit cut out didn’t you? You’re a tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully. Karma got ya. Sir Rod Stewart.”

The BBC is currently investigating misconduct claims against Gregg, who has denied allegations of making inappropriate sexual comments, the Mirror reports.

After the allegations against Gregg first surfaced, a statement from MasterChef’s production company, Banijay UK, was issued: “This week the BBC received complaints from individuals in relation to historical allegations of misconduct while working with presenter Gregg Wallace on one of our shows.

“Whilst these complainants have not raised the allegations directly with our show producers or parent company Banijay UK, we feel that it is appropriate to conduct an immediate, external review to fully and impartially investigate.”

“While this review is underway, Gregg Wallace will be stepping away from his role on MasterChef and is committed to fully cooperating throughout the process.

“Banijay UK’s duty of care to staff is always a priority and our expectations regarding behaviour are made clear to both cast and crew on all productions, with multiple ways of raising concerns, including anonymously, clearly promoted on set.”

It continued: “Whilst these are historical allegations, incidences brought to our attention where these expectations are not met, are thoroughly investigated and addressed appropriately. “

Gregg’s lawyers have vehemently denied he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature. Gregg insisted via his legal team: “It is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature.

On Wednesday, Gregg’s ghostwriter, Shannon Kyle, levelled accusations against the star when speaking to Victoria Derbyshire on NewsNight.

Elsewhere, Celebrity MasterChef winner Emma Kennedy alleged that Gregg touched an assistant’s bottom, causing immediate uproar. TV personality Ulrika Jonsson also claimed that another female contestant heard Wallace make a ‘rape joke’ on MasterChef.

On Tuesday, further allegations surfaced when Gregg was accused of asking a British Sign Language interpreter to sign inappropriate phrases. An attendee at the BBC Good Food Show alleged that Wallace asked the interpreter to sign “big boobs” and “sexy bum” at the NEC Arena in Birmingham in 2012.

The attendee told The Guardian: “There was a British Sign Language interpreter there and he wandered over to her at one point and just said: ‘Do you have to sign everything I say? And she said yes, and then he just started saying, ‘big boobs’, ‘sexy bum’ – this sort of thing, in order to get her to sign it. It was like he could control her, I suppose”.
