The sudden death of a man at an Ayrshire cemetery is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.
Emergency services were called to the scene in the Kings Road area of the Beith yesterday morning (Tuesday, December 10).
Paramedics and three specialist teams from the Scottish Ambulance Service as well as officers from Police Scotland were on site after being alerted at around 10.30am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.30am on Tuesday, December 10, officers were called to the Kings Road area of Beith following the sudden death of a man.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 10:35am on Tuesday, December 10, to attend an incident on Kings Road, Beith.
“We dispatched one ambulance and three special operations response teams (SORT) to the scene.”
