Police said the victim was shot multiple times before being transported to a hospital.
AUSTIN, Texas — One person is injured after a shooting early Friday morning in East Austin, according to law enforcement.
An Austin Police Department (APD) supervisor on scene said the incident happened around 4 a.m. on the 400 block of Thrasher Lane, not far from Metropolis Drive and State Highway 183.
The victim was shot in the roadway and suffered multiple gunshot wounds before being taken to a hospital, police said. Their condition remains unknown.
There are no suspects in custody as detectives investigate the shooting.
