Paired with Vito Coppola, the 53-year-old has dominated the leaderboards twice throughout the competition.

Sarah Hadland’s net worth may not be staggering, but she’s proving that success on Strictly isn’t just about the money.

Although she keeps her personal life and finances under wraps, her dancing journey is bringing her out of her shell.

Sarah is a devoted mother to her daughter, with whom she resides in Blackheath, London. Her family also includes her adorable ginger cat, Percy, who frequently features on her social media.

Discussing her home life, Sarah shared: “It’s quite a juggle but you manage to do it like all working mums.

“I think you just have to put your ‘mum hat’ on and your ‘work hat’ on and I feel so lucky to be doing this show.”

The actress has always chosen to keep her daughter’s identity under wraps, never disclosing her face or name. However, Sarah did share a glimpse into their touching relationship when she dedicated her dance performance to her.

In a pre-performance video with her professional partner, an emotional Sarah revealed that their Foxtrot was set to Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather, a song that holds special meaning for her and her daughter.

She showed off a beautiful bird collage they had created together, saying, “[This dance] it’s about my family and me and my little one.

“This song is special to us because we sing it together. It would be really lovely to show how I feel in the dance.”

Sarah also enjoys giving her Instagram followers a peek inside her stunning home. One photo features her posing with a friend in her kitchen, which boasts dark cabinets and sideboards offset by bright white walls and floor tiles, and a large wooden bench at the room’s centre.

Another image captures her 50th birthday celebration, where she snaps a photo of a cardboard cutout of herself in her hallway. The reflection in two large mirrors, one framed in white and another in ornate silver, reveals her presence.

The floor showcases vintage monochrome tiles.

In a 2019 interview with the Times, she discussed finding her home and why its unique style appealed to her.

She recalled: “I found my house while traipsing behind my dad, telling him, ‘Don’t be ridiculous, I’ll never be able to afford Blackheath.'”.

The actress prefers to keep the identity of her daughter private and has never revealed her face or name. However Sarah did open up about her heartwarming bond with her daughter when she dedicated her dance to her.

Speaking with her professional partner in their VT before they took to the floor, Sarah was overcome with emotion as she said that the song they performed their Foxtrot to, Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather.

Sarah showed the camera a gorgeous bird collage that they had made together. “We immediately stumbled upon this house. I have a penchant for unique structures. The house was initially a stable – I possess pictures of it from the 1980s, featuring barn doors.”

Sarah Hadland’s social media reveals that she has numerous celebrity friends who she regularly socialises with.

She has posted pictures with Sian Gibson, known for Car Share, Bridget Jones and Smack The Pony’s Sally Phillips, her Miranda co-star Patricia Hodge, and actor Russell Tovey.

However, Sarah also shares a close bond with her Miranda co-star Miranda Hart. Sarah previously confessed that she didn’t anticipate getting along with Miranda.

“I hadn’t attended university or drama school,” she shared with the Observer in 2013. “I was told countless times: ‘You will not be an actress’.”

“I recall searching for her online and thinking: ‘We have nothing in common, you’re posh’.”
