Former Celtic star Josip Juranovic resurfaced to celebrate their Premier Sports Cup success – labelling Cameron Carter-Vickers a ‘f****** wall’ on social media.

Juranovic knows all about winning silverware in green and white having lifted the same trophy, as well as the Premiership, during his 18 months at Parkhead. His impressive form earned him a January move to Union Berlin in 2023 and he held down a spot for much of last season, but has been sidelined with injury this term.

In his downtime it seems he kept an eye on Sunday’s thrilling final at Hampden, which Celtic won on penalties after a 3-3 draw with Rangers.

One man who impressed in that one was certainly Carter-Vickers, who frequently shut the door in the Ibrox side’s face. One incident in particular saw Rangers break 4vs1, but the American somehow managed to close the angle on Nedim Bajrami and get it behind for a corner.

He’s nicknamed ‘The Fridge’ thanks to his stout frame, but Juranovic has another nickname for him. Carter-Vickers took to Instagram, sharing snaps of himself in action captioned ‘What a feeling! Got there in the end.”

And Juranovic popped up in the comments, replying ‘f****** wall!’ with several exclamation marks and fire emojis for good measure.
