Virgin River fans have been eagerly anticipating the show’s return for a year, and now the wait is almost over for the latest series to be released.
In the fifth series, viewers saw Jack Sheridan (portrayed by Martin Henderson) and Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) dealing with heartbreak after a miscarriage, and Mel finally meeting her biological father Everett Reid (John Allen Nelson).

Virgin River season 6 release date and time
The last time we saw Virgin River was at the end of November 2023 for its Christmas special. Now, it’s making a comeback with season six, which will be available from Thursday, December 19.
The exact release time depends on your geographical location.
However, regardless of where you are in the world, the show will technically be released at the same moment.
For those in the US, Virgin River season six will be available just after midnight PST (Pacific Standard Time) and 3am EST (Eastern Standard Time) on December 19.
Meanwhile, UK fans can start watching the popular show from 8am GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), with most of the rest of Europe getting access to Virgin River season six about an hour later.

Of course, Martin Henderson and Alexandra Breckenridge will be returning to their leading roles as Jack Sheridan and Mel Monroe for the sixth season.
They’ll be joined by familiar faces including Colin Lawrence, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Zibby Allen, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Sarah Dugdale, Marco Grazzini, Kandyse McClure, Mark Ghanime and Kai Bradbury.
A few new characters will be introduced in this season, with flashbacks featuring the early days of Mel’s parents’ romance.
Actor John Allen Nelson is playing present day Everett Reid, but Hollyoaks’ Callum Kerr will portray the younger version of Everett and Happy Death Day star Jessica Rothe will play young Sarah, Mel’s mum.

The sixth season of Virgin River will have a total of 10 episodes, just like its previous seasons.
Unlike the fifth season, this upcoming series will not be divided into two parts, with all episodes being released on Netflix at once.
