Passengers travelling to and from Arran and Cumbrae are being warned to expect disruption due to high winds in the Firth of Clyde.
CalMac have already announced that the 1.30pm sailing from Troon to Brodick and the 3.20pm return from Brodick to Troon have been cancelled due “winds in the excess of 50mph”.
As a result of the weather, the 10.20am sailing from Brodick to Troon will operate on a “load and go basis” meaning it will depart earlier than scheduled so passengers are being urged to check in as early as possible.
Sailings from Ardrossan to Brodick, particularly after 11am, are subject to cancellation at short notice.

“Once the vessel arrives in Brodick at 9.50am and the sailing is disembarked, checked-in passengers will be loaded and the vessel will depart earlier than scheduled.
“Passengers are advised to arrive at the port in plenty of time for check-in.
“On arrival in Troon at 11.40am, the 1:30pm from Troon and the 3.20pm from Brodick will be cancelled. This is due to winds in the excess of 50mph.

For passengers looking to travel to and from Ardrossan, they added: “Due to forecast strong winds, all remaining sailings are liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice.
