The draw for the last four of the Carabao Cup is almost upon us as the quarter-final ties conclude on Thursday.
It’s a star-studded line-up in the semis as holders Liverpool, Newcastle United and Arsenal all secured their places in the hat for this evening’s draw. Ange Postecoglou has promised Tottenham fans that he’ll end the North London club’s 17-year trophy drought this season but the ex-Celtic boss will have to work his magic against Manchester United as the English heavyweights battle it out for the last remaining spot.
A victory for Spurs could spark life into their campaign and ease some pressure on Postecoglou’s shoulders after a sticky run of form in the Premier League. The Aussie is unbeaten in his three meetings with the Red Devils, winning two – including the 3-0 dismantling at Old Trafford back in September. Here, Record Sport tells you everything you need to know ahead of the draw.
