(Gray News) – Almost half a million power banks are being recalled after Charmast received several reports of injuries.

The Charmast Power Banks were sold exclusively on Amazon and involve model number W1056 that sold between December 2018 and September 2024.

The company said anyone with the batteries should stop using them immediately and contact Charmast for a refund.

You’ll need to provide photos of the power bank, along with your name and the date of the photo written in permanent marker above the label and the severed power cord.

You shouldn’t throw the recalled batteries in the trash. Contact your local recycling center to learn how to properly dispose of lithium-ion batteries.
