An image of man has been released to help with an investigation into an assault on a Scots street.
Officers have issued a photograph of a man they believe may be able to assist their enquiries into an assault which occurred on Smith Street, Ayr, on Sunday, November 17 at around 1am.
The man is described as being white, 5ft 10” in height, stocky build, bald, aged late 40s to early 50s. He was wearing a black and white shirt and a blue jacket.
Cops believe that the man shown in the image may have information which could help them and would urge him, or any members of the public who recognise him, to contact police.
