Tyson Fury takes on Oleksandr Usyk this weekend in a highly-anticipated heavyweight rematch – and his wife Paris will no doubt be cheering him on.
The two men initially met at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia back in May as Fury put his WBC belt on the line with hopes of clinching Usyk’s WBA (Super), WBO, IBF and IBO collection. However, it was the 37-year-old Ukrainian who achieved undisputed greatness on the night, besting Fury over the course of 12 rounds via a split decision.
Fury will have revenge on his mind when the two men go toe-to-toe in the same venue this evening, utilising the support of his coaching team, close friends and family to dominate 22-0 Usyk and reclaim a share of the division’s belts. While Fury’s father, John Fury, has been imperative to the ‘Gypsy King’s successes over the years, his wife, Paris, has also been a rock through the good times and the bad.
And there’s no doubt that the 35-year-old will be ringside this evening to cheer her husband on with the rest of the Fury clan. But what does Tyson’s relationship with his wife of 16 years look like, and how many children do the happy couple share? Here, the Daily Record breaks it down…
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are set to lock horns again on December 21 with the Brit attempting to avenge his defeat by the Ukrainian in May. Victory for Fury could also set up a huge domestic showdown with bitter rival Anthony Joshua next year

DAZNA marriage of 16 years
Tyson and Paris initially met at a mutual friend’s wedding when they were both teenagers and began dating after Paris had turned 16. After dating for over ten years, the happy couple tied the knot in Doncaster in November 2008 – in a huge family-centred ceremony boasting more than 300 guests.
However, keeping with traveller tradition, Tyson would sleep in a caravan at Paris’ parents house when they were engaged – not sharing a bed until they finally became married. Previously speaking about sleeping arrangements, Paris explained: “We didn’t sleep together until after we got married.
“That is the travellers’ way. Even after we got engaged, Tyson would sleep in a caravan at my parents’ home while I slept inside the house.” Fast forward to 2024, and the happy couple have been married for 16 years, residing in a lavish Morecambe mansion with their children.
How many children do Tyson and Paris Fury have?
While Tyson is only 36 and Paris is just 35, the couple share seven children together. Their first child in Venezuela Lynda arrived in September 2009, a year after the couple tied the knot. Prince John James came in April 2012, while Prince Tyson II followed in July 2016.
Valencia Amber joined the family in December 2017, while Prince Adonis Amaziah arrived in February 2019. Third daughter Athena was welcomed by Tyson and Paris in August 2021, before their latest child in Prince Rico Paris was born in September last year. With their first child being born in 2009 and their latest arriving last September, there are 14 years separating their oldest and their youngest, but Paris has previously admitted that the couple may welcome an eighth.
Speaking on Loose Women after the arrival of Prince Rico Paris, she explained: “We’re on the fence whether this is going be the last one. Every time I have a baby, I say no more. Then they go off to school, and I get this little inkling. But seven is a lot, I’m not going to lie. It’s very busy in my house.”
A heartbreaking miscarriage
Tyson and Paris were due to welcome an eighth child earlier this year. However, the mother of seven suffered a miscarriage in the build-up to her husband’s initial fight with Usyk. Paris attended a routine gender scan for the child that she was carrying when she was told that it had no heartbeat, but she decided to hide the heart-breaking revelation from Tyson as he was approaching the biggest title fight of his professional boxing career.
She explained earlier this year: “I had to make the decision, do I tell him? And I came to the conclusion that whatever was happening with me, I couldn’t change it. But I could change dramatically what was happening in his life.” She added: “I made up a lie that I had high blood pressure.
“It was the only thing I could think of that would stop me from flying without having to give him the terrible news. I was alone at the time. Tyson was in Saudi Arabia getting ready for his fight in the training camp, I’d had my 12-week scan, and everything was well, so I’d just popped in for a gender scan.
“Obviously having had multiple pregnancies, I just got a friend to watch the kids and I thought I’d come down and find out what it is, and then I could tell Tyson when I went over to join him in Saudi.” However, when she went for the scan, she was told that the baby did not have a heartbeat.
Recounting the instance, she said: “The sonographer said to me, ‘I’m really sorry, Paris, there’s no heartbeat’. I jumped up, started to cry, and said, ‘No, hold on, hold on. No, no, wait’ and went all frantic.” Paris also revealed that it wasn’t the first time that she had miscarried, explaining at the time: “I’ve had three miscarriages. I lost one in the first trimester and two in the second trimester, two that I’ve had to deliver. We’ve buried two baby boys.”
Not wanting to break the news to Tyson while he was away, Paris waited for her husband to arrive home from his fight in Riyadh to explain what had happened. However, Tyson has insisted that he knew there was a problem when Paris told him that she couldn’t get to Saudi Arabia to see him fight in May.
Tyson previously said: “When she said she couldn’t come over, I knew there was a problem. She never told me she had lost the baby, but I knew.”
