Lily Allen has reportedly joined an exclusive dating app after splitting from husband David Harbour, 49.
Pop star Lily is thought to be on an exclusive dating app, reports the Mirror. The singer, 39, was spotted with a profile on celebrity dating app, Raya.
Her alleged bio reads: “Looking for someone to start couples therapy with,” while she also is said to have indicated that she is “visiting Los Angeles from New York”.
Lily’s Raya profile is said to have popped up last week for users who have told the app they are women interested in dating other women. It’s not clear what preferences Lily’s profile had set and whether she was looking for love or a friendship. The profile was shared with DailyMail by a female source not connected to Lily.
Last week, Lily was seen having removed her wedding ring. The pop star hosts BBC Sounds podcast Miss Me? Alongside close friend Miquita Oliver, and had been interviewing Miquita’s mum Andi Oliver. In clips from the podcast shared on Lily’s Instagram, Lily gestured with her bare hands, with both her engagement and wedding ring missing.
The lack of ring came after she confessed to have been struggling, and spending time away from her Stranger Things star husband. Lily and David co-parent Lily’s two daughters – Ethel Mary, 12, and Marnie Rose, 11 – alongside her ex-husband Sam Cooper.
Lily previously admitted to meeting David on Raya. Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show last year, Lily spoke of meeting David, who plays Jim Hopper in hit Netflix science fiction drama Stranger Things.
“On a dating app, called Raya,” she revealed. “It was the first time I’d been on this dating app. I was scrolling through and landed on David’s profile and pressed accept. I didn’t know who he was. I thought he was just like a sexy policeman from a reality TV show. He was wearing a policeman’s uniform. It was a still from Stranger Things. I’d never seen Stranger Things.”
She added: “I don’t even know what I was looking for. It was just something to do on holiday, swiping, it’s a bit of fun. When I met him I didn’t think it was going to go anywhere. He was here filming Black Widow. He was only going to be here for a couple of months. And then it did (go somewhere).”
The pair later married in Las Vegas in 2020. Lily recently told fans that due to focusing on her kids and struggling mentally, she’d been neglecting to eat. She said: “I’ve been going through a tough time over the last few months, and my eating has become an issue. My therapist and I talk about it, and she says, ‘How long has this been going on?’ And I said, ‘Well, about three years really’. And she’s like, ‘Okay, why haven’t you mentioned it before?'”
“And it’s not because I’m lying about it. It’s just because it’s not seemed at the top of the list of important things that I need to talk about, but obviously, it is. I’m not really good at talking about the bigger picture. That’s something about my ADHD as well that I don’t link things. And also, my body and my brain are two very separate things to me. I know a lot of people feel those two things are very connected to each other, but for me, it’s very different. I spend a lot of time in my head and not a lot of time thinking about my body.”
The singer added: “I’m really not in a great place mentally at the moment, and I’m not eating. I’m not hungry. I obviously am hungry, but my body and brain are so disconnected from each other that my body… the messages of hunger are not going through my body to my brain. I’m not avoiding food, I’m just not thinking about it because I’m so in my head. My body’s, like, a few steps behind me.”
