HOUSTON — While many are expected to tune in just to catch Beyoncé’s halftime performance at NRG Stadium, the game itself doesn’t kick off until 3:30 p.m. Central time.
NFL games are comprised of 15-minute quarters. However, that doesn’t mean she will take the stage at 4 p.m. or exactly 30 minutes after the Texans vs Ravens kickoff.
Timeouts, reviews, and commercial breaks all make a game significantly longer than the amount of time left on the scoreboard.

NFL games typically last about three hours, according to BetUS.com. That includes a 12-minute halftime. However, with this being a special broadcast like the Super Bowl, the halftime will be extended.
Beyoncé’s performance is already said to be nine minutes long.
Fans can expect her to take the stage between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., but the exact timing will depend on the flow of the game and any extended delays
The game – and Beyoncé’s performance – can be seen live on KHOU 11 beginning at 3:30 p.m.
