AUSTIN, Texas — One person is dead after a crash early Thursday morning in northeast Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS).
The incident involved one vehicle and happened just after 3 a.m. on the 9300 block of U.S. Hwy 290 heading eastbound, according to responders.
ATCEMS said it worked alongside the Austin Fire Department (AFD) to perform CPR, but an adult victim died on scene. The cause of the crash remains unknown.
