AUSTIN, Texas — Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) is heading multiple new routes in the new year.
The airport will add new, nonstop services to Jacksonville, Fla., Memphis, Tenn., Milwaukee and Reno, Nev. in 2025.
The additions come as the number of nonstop destinations from the airport fell by around 10% in December. Dallas-based American Airlines made the most cuts, discontinuing service to 30 destinations, and the airport is still expecting an overall slowdown in passenger traffic in 2025.
Airlines are also expecting less travel especially in January and February, with the expectation that service will pick up slightly come March.
