Netflix has just dropped all six seasons of a beloved US comedy-drama, and it’s tipped as essential viewing for fans of Gilmore Girls.

The WB’s hit series featuring Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel is already accessible to subscribers, with numerous fans having revisited the charming mother-daughter saga time and again.

For those who’ve devoured the Gilmore escapades on repeat, there’s good news: Graham’s other renowned show, Parenthood, has landed on the streaming giant for your viewing delight.

In this highly-praised family drama, Graham steps into the shoes of Sarah Braverman-Holt, a single mum of two teenagers and one of four siblings, each with their own brood.

Over its six-season run, Sarah, together with her brothers Adam (played by Peter Krause) and Crosby (Dax Shepard), and sister Julia (Erika Christensen), grapple with the trials of raising kids and managing dynamics with their own folks, Camille (Bonnie Bedelia) and Ezekiel (Craig T Nelson), reports the Mirror.

Despite garnering critical acclaim, the show didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of ratings, seeing a gradual drop in viewership across its impressive six-season tenure.

Now, all 103 episodes are up for streaming on Netflix in the UK, presenting an opportunity for the series to captivate a broader global audience.

Parenthood may have had a modest but dedicated following, yet they unanimously insist the series is not to be overlooked, with a Google reviewer hailing it as “[the most] feel good drama series I have ever watched!

“This series touched me on so many levels. The importance of family and complications of family has been beautifully described in the story. I have many favourite characters in this one.”

Another US viewer penned: “I just binge watched all six seasons AGAIN on Peacock Premium.

“I had previously binge watched it five years ago. It was even better the second time around with the most satisfying closure for a series ending I’ve seen.”

Several fans have also praised the depiction of Max Braverman (Max Burkholder), who is diagnosed with Asperger syndrome in the first season, as an accurate representation of raising a neurodivergent child.
