An awesome act of kindness was music to the ears of the Airdrie Foodbank team.
The big-hearted crew of Imagine That performing arts troupe donated bags packed with items to the organisation for the festive season.
The generosity was part of the musical marvels’ 10 top turns of Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol in Airdrie Arts Centre.
The shows enthralled sold-out audiences for a “semi-immersive production” that filled the auditorium to the brim with mince pies, mulled wine, music and merriment.
Throughout the show’s run, cast and audience members donated food to the theatre group’s food drive, which was delivered to Airdrie Foodbank in time for Christmas.
Kieran McMath, artistic director, told Lanarkshire Live: “I’m immensely proud of the entire cast and crew working on this production for their hard work and dedication.
“And everyone stepped up to contribute lots of items for our food drive which we were delighted to hand over to Airdrie Foodbank.
“Thank you very much to everyone who contributed to the initiative.”
