A black pickup truck slammed through the wall of a New Jersey McDonald’s Tuesday morning, injuring an employee and causing considerable damage.

Photos posted to the Hackensack Fire Department’s Facebook page show the front end of a Dodge Ram 150 poking through the eatery’s broken brick wall. Equipment inside the McDonald’s appeared to have been knocked down and damaged too.

“One restaurant employee who was inside the building at the time was injured and medical care was provided by the firefighters until the arrival of the ambulance who transported the party to [Hackensack University Medical Center],” the fire department said.

The truck is said to have hit the south side of the building around 3:20 a.m. Utilities were shut down due to water and natural gas leaks. Rescue workers pulled the vehicle out of the wall.

A 38-year-old man from Teaneck, N.J., was arrested for drunkenly driving the vehicle into the restaurant, according to NJ.com. The McDonald’s employee’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. No injuries to the driver were reported.

The crash occurred near the Hackensack River, roughly 8 miles west of upper Manhattan.
