Lily Allen was reportedly left in “agony” after she went undercover and discovered that her husband David Harbour had a profile on an exclusive dating app. The singer, who is 39, didn’t join Raya – the app favoured by celebs and those in the entertainment industry for discreet dating – to find love.

Instead, she used it as part of a sting operation to investigate rumours of her husband’s infidelity. The couple, who met on Raya in 2019 and subsequently deactivated their accounts, are now facing claims that David reactivated his profile despite the app’s lengthy waiting list of over 100,000 hopefuls.

A source revealed that Lily was scouring the app for women and then checking if they were followed by David on his public Instagram account. “Lily was looking for women that were on Raya and cross-referencing them with women David follows on Instagram to try to figure out who he was seeing. She was doing her Wagatha thing,” the insider explained.

star Coleen Rooney, who blocked certain individuals from viewing her private Instagram Stories to identify a mole leaking stories to the press. The culprit was allegedly narrowed down to Rebekah Vardy’s account, although Vardy, another I’m A Celebrity contestant, has consistently denied any wrongdoing, reports the Mirror.

A source disclosed to The Mail on Sunday: “Lily only rejoined Raya to try to figure out whether he was seeing someone. Lily has never even looked at anyone since she met David. She is devastated. He broke up with Lily a month ago. He was meant to be on holiday with her in Kenya over Christmas.”

Neither David nor Lily have commented publicly about their relationship. As the outlet reports, David’s Raya profile mentions he is “visiting New York from Atlanta” and describes himself as a “closet nerd that plays tough guys on your TV.”

Insiders close to Lily suggest that he has been “open to meeting new people for some time now” Lily reportedly discovered his profile in the summer.

Recent reports indicate that David was allegedly seen last week in India, accompanied by another woman at a Himalayan foothill temple. Amidst the split, Lily flew off from the UK with her daughters for a safari getaway, having spent Christmas sans her spouse.

The couple first appeared together on the red carpet during the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 19, 2020. They tied the knot on September 7, 2020, in Las Vegas, with an Elvis Presley impersonator serving as the officiant.

The announcement of their wedding came as a surprise to many when they posted celebratory snaps from their joyous occasion on social media. Representatives for David and Lily had not provided any statements at the time of reporting.
