Aberdeen are interested in Alexander Jensen but Brommapojkarna have slapped a £650,000 price tag on his head.

Record Sport understands that the versatile defender is one of a number of defensive options that Dons manager Jimmy Thelin is looking at in this window. The Dons have already held talks with the Swedish club but it remains to be seen if a deal can be done. Brommapojkarna would have to drop their valuation for the move to happen.

Having started his professional career with Vejle and then Fredericia, the Danish defender can play in a number of positions, as a midfielder or full back on either side, whcih would make him a useful addition to Thelin’s squad. The 23-year-old has been at Brommapojkarna since 2023. The Premiership club would be keen to make the move but not at the current levels that are being quoted. Aberdeen have however, made Jeppe Okkels their first signing of the January window.

The winger, who previously played for Thelin at Elfsborg, has joined from Preston on loan with an option. The Dons are also looking to add to their defensive options with Gavin Molloy out injured and Slobodan Rubezic now suspended. Latvian captain Kristers Tobers from Grasshoppers remains an active central defensive target.
