A Geordie Shore star broke down in tears as they opened up on tragic family cancer diagnosis,

The reality TV series has made a triumphant return to our screens with its 25th series, which is now available for streaming on Paramount+.

This time around, the Geordies have jetted off to Thailand for Kyle Christie’s stag celebrations, orchestrated by his best mate James Tindale.

The first episode sees the lads, including Ricci Guarnaccio and Jay Tindale, soaking up the sun in Ko Samui, while Nathan Henry, Sophie Kasaei, Chloe Ferry, and Abbie Holborn hit the vibrant city of Bangkok.

The Mirror reports a heart-to-heart on a Bangkok rooftop between Nathan and Chloe saw Nathan disclose his father’s stage four lung cancer diagnosis.

Speaking to the cameras, Nathan expressed: “Bangkok is a massive distraction and that’s exactly what I need right now. Since last time, my dad has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and it has been a tough time for all of my family.”

He continued: “When I found out, I didn’t know how to react, I didn’t know what to do, I just went numb and I kind of shut down. It’s only recently that I’ve actually started to process things.”

In an emotional exchange with Chloe, Nathan confided: “Its not something that’s gonna go away, its something that’s there, my dad has cancer.”

Chloe offered her sympathy, saying: “It’s awful, you should never have those words come out of your mouth.”

The conversation took an emotional turn as Nathan broke down in tears, leading to a comforting embrace from Chloe.

Confronting his fears in a confessional, the I’m A Celebrity Australia alum shared: “It is scary, the thought of losing a parent is unbearable. I don’t know, he’s my dad,”.

Chloe emphasised the necessity for her pal to take time out even though his father is battling illness, reassuring him of its importance.

The celeb opened up about her own heartache, relating to what her mate is enduring, as she too lost her father to the dreadful disease.

Chloe took to Instagram in December 2021 to make the sombre announcement to her fans about her father’s passing.

Her words at that time were poignant: “I’ve struggled to write this and still can’t accept it what I’m about to say! I’m a very open person and normally happy to share all details of my life, however this is a time where I really need to have some privacy.”

She further added, “I sadly lost my dad after his battle with cancer and it still doesn’t feel real! I am going to take a break from social media and work commitments.”
