A cleaner transformed a little girl’s mould infested bedroom after she branded it a ‘toxic monstrosity’.
TikTok user @cleanwithbea, also known as Bea, offered to clean the youngster’s room after her mum reached out to say her daughter had been reportedly suffering with a tight chest, a runny nose, weeping eyes and a persistent cough, all of which are symptoms of a mould exposure.
In the shocking video shared on Bea’s account, the cleaning expert can be seen wearing a hazmat suit and mask as she begins to clean the mould-ridden bedroom.
Bea, 26, said the mould didn’t look bad from a distance, however claims she knew there was a major issue when she discovered what was lurking behind the wardrobe.
Speaking on the viral video, which has already been watched by almost 3.5 million people, Bea explained: “This child’s bedroom is infested with black mould. And although it doesn’t look bad from far away, the second I moved that wardrobe and saw this toxic monstrosity, I knew we had a problem. Her mum told me she’s been suffering with a tight chest, runny nose, weeping eyes, and a persistent cough. These are all symptoms of mould exposure.”
Bea then films herself attempting to rid the room of mould and explains to viewers the best products to use.
She said: “So I’m going to clean this little girl’s bedroom for free with the help of HG. They’ve provided me with their classic mould remover spray and foam version. I use the foam version mainly on the walls and ceiling cause it adheres really well and because the foam spray has a less intense smell than the classic version. It was perfect to use in this bedroom.
“All you have to do it spray the mouldy area and wait 30 minutes before wiping. Believe me when I say this stuff is stronger than Ariana Grande’s mascara on the Wicked press tour, so always wear PPE and read the instructions. After cleaning all the mould I purchased two dehumidifiers for this family.
“They have an electric dehumidifier and a classic one with replaceable pods. I also damp sealed all the walls and ceilings and topped everything off by painting everything with anti-mould paint because I really wanted to make sure I was doing everything I possibly could to make sure this mould doesn’t come back. The before and afters are really good.
In an earlier video on her TikTok page, Brea told how she offers free deep cleans to people who are struggling and are in need of help. She then shared cleans to her social media page alongside tips and tricks to help viewers tackle their own problems.
