Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has taken to Instagram to share a cheeky post in which she asks fans to ‘pray for her boyfriend’.

Earlier, she shared an inspirational quote to wrap up the year reports the Mirror, stating: “You spent 2024 in survival mode. 2025 is your time to rise, rebuild, and thrive.”

This comes after her ex-husband, Ant, welcomed his first child last year. Around that time, Lisa posted a series of cryptic messages on social media, including one that read: “Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you’ve fought, the moments you’ve had to humble yourself, the times you’ve wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength.”

Ant and Lisa tied the knot in 2006, after the I’m A Celebrity presenter popped the question while on holiday in Dubai in 2005. The couple were married for 11 years over a relationship that spanned over two decades before announcing their divorce in 2018.

The couple started dating in 2020 when dad-of-two James was estranged from his wife and the pair swiftly moved from lockdown dates to jet-setting. However, three years later the pair broke up with the split reportedly coming “out of the blue”.

According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, the split came unexpectedly as the couple had recently enjoyed a lavish Caribbean holiday together.

The insider revealed: “I don’t really know what has gone wrong. The two of them were only on a swanky holiday together in the Caribbean or somewhere about eight weeks ago. He was with her one day, and he just wasn’t with her the next day. There was no inkling that anything was wrong.”
