M&S is capturing the hearts of customers with its “best ever winter coat,” priced at £69, which has received glowing reviews from shoppers. The Thermowarmth Stormwear Quilted Duvet Coat is available in two chic colours for £69.

Whether you opt for ‘fawn’ and ‘turquoise’, the coat comes in sizes six to 24, but some sizes are selling quickly. The popular coat is designed for a regular fit and boasts thermal wadding, fleece-lined pockets, and a hood.

M&S describes it as an “insulating duvet coat”, boasting “Stormwear technology that keeps you dry in light showers”. Shoppers are sharing their positive experiences online.

One satisfied customer commented: “Beautiful coat, lightweight and warm. Bought as a birthday present for my daughter, she loves it!” Meanwhile, another stated: “Lightweight jacket in a good neutral colour. Extremely warm and the hood makes a cosy stand up collar effect. Warmest jacket I ever owned. Worn in a rain shower and the water rolled off.”

A third shopper posted: “Storm coat – lightest to wear and so warm and snuggly. Best ever winter coat”, reports the Mirror. Someone added: “Brought this for myself and was very pleased very warm and cosy.”

Another fan said: “Gorgeous colour blue washable coat. Longer length for more warmth plus fleece lined pockets. Fits snugly around the neck to keep the cold out but the hood is fixed. The zip undoes from the bottom as well, great touch as well as popper front fastening. Very lightweight as an extra bonus and true to size. Love this jacket.”

However, there were also some criticisms. One buyer remarked: “Lovely warm, comfortable coat, but the colour is more a sky/wedgewood blue, than the turquoise it appears on the website. I am still undecided whether to keep it for this reason.”

Another customer said: “Beautiful colour and just the right length (I am 5’7″). Lovely and warm but not bulky. I bought the turquoise which is my favourite colour but agree that it is not as bright as the photo. Need more attractive colours for winter coats as I do not suit blacks and dark colours,” and someone wrote: “Nice material but not that warm and zip is a bit fiddly.”

M&S also offers a Rubber Thermowarmth Padded Quilted Jacket for £55, a Thermowarmth Rubber Hooded Padded Coat for £69, and a Nurie Hooded Quilted Padded Longline Coat for £77.

Elsewhere, New Look offers a Black Hooded Longline Puffer Coat for £52.49, a Gym King Black Chevron Longline Puffer Coat for £95, and a Grey Hooded Longline Puffer Coat for £69.99.
