A major Dumfries and Galloway road has been closed due to a two vehicle accident.
Police have closed the A75 in both directions on the Annan bypass following the collision.
The accident happened just before 2pm and traffic is building in both directions, with motorists asked to find an alternative route.
The road could be closed for some time, with social media posts indicating an air ambulance has arrived at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Emergency services are in attendance.
“Please avoid the area and follow diversions.”
