PRINCETON, W.Va. – A man charged with malicious assault and domestic battery waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Thursday and his case will now head to a grand jury.
Larry Revels was arrested and charged after Princeton Police say he punched and stabbed a woman he was staying with at an apartment complex on Highland Avenue in Princeton on New Year’s Day.
The alleged victim in the case survived the ordeal and was treated at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. Police say the victim was allegedly stabbed 13 times.
Revels remains incarcerated at Southern Regional Jail under a $50,000 cash only bond.
