The cult favourite Netflix series, Fake Profile, has made a triumphant return to the streaming service, much to the delight of its ardent followers. Initially launched in 2023, the show quickly captivated a loyal audience, and the latest instalment promises to keep viewers on tenterhooks.

In the first season, we followed the journey of Camilla, played by Carolina Miranda, as she navigated a risqué dating site and fell for Fernando, only to discover his true identity as Miguel, which led her into a tangled mess of deceit and intrigue.

The Colombian drama’s new season, featuring Rodolfo Salas and Lincoln Palomeque alongside Miranda, continues the gripping narrative.

This time around, Camilla is dealing with being impersonated on Tinder by a mysterious figure using her identity for sinister purposes. Despite the turbulent plot, fans have been lavishing praise on the show.

Taking to X, previously known as Twitter, viewers have been vocal about their binge-watching experiences. One fan admitted: “Accidentally stayed up until 5am.. I blame it on the espresso martinis and this good show on Netflix called Fake Profile.”

The remarkable catfish story revolves around Kirat Assi, 43, from west London, who was ensnared in an intricate web of deceit involving a man named Bobby Jandu, who she thought was a doctor.

Despite never having a video call or meeting Bobby in person, Kirat believed they were in a relationship.
