With the hustle and bustle of weekday mornings, breakfast often becomes a hurried affair. While some plan ahead with overnight oats or baked oats, others barely have time to grab a slice of toast or a coffee as they dash out the door.

The weekend, after a hectic week, offers the perfect chance to slow down, with many UK households favouring a full English fry up. However, with numerous components to prepare, it can become a lengthy and messy task, resulting in a pile of pots and pans to clean.

Keeping this in mind, the culinary experts at AO.com have shared a method to whip up a full English breakfast in just five minutes, reports the Express.

Here’s what you’ll need to make a full English breakfast for one person.

Method

To start, put the baked beans in a microwave-safe bowl and heat them according to the instructions on the tin. Set aside.

At the same time, heat a large frying pan over high heat and quickly brown the pre-cooked/quick-cook sausage and bacon for about one minute per side. Ensure all the meat is thoroughly cooked.

As the sausage and bacon are cooking, put the bread in the toaster. Next, move the sausage and bacon to one side of the pan, increase the heat and crack an egg into the vacant space.

Place the halved tomato (cut side down) next to it and cook for one minute until the egg white is set but the yolk remains runny. Immediately dish up and serve, adding seasoning and your choice of ketchup or brown sauce as preferred.
