With the Steelers and Broncos both losing, the Texans are the lowest seed remaining in the playoffs and will take on the top-seeded Chiefs.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Texans now know their next opponent in the NFL playoffs.

Because of the Buffalo Bills’ win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Houston is now the lowest seed remaining in the AFC playoffs and will head to Kansas City to play the top-seeded Chiefs.

In the other matchup of the AFC divisional round, the Baltimore Ravens head to Buffalo to take on the Bills.

Houston advanced in the postseason by knocking off the Los Angeles Chargers, 32-12, at NRG Stadium on Saturday. They move on to the divisional round for the second straight season.

Houston has played all of the other teams remaining in the AFC playoffs. The Texans lost 27-19 to the Chiefs in Kansas City. Houston fell to Baltimore, 31-2, at home on Christmas Day. Those were two games in a stretch of three games in an 11-game stretch. Earlier in the season, Houston beat Buffalo at NRG Stadium, 23-20.

The date and time of the Texans-Chiefs game hasn’t been set yet.
