A young boy has been rushed to hospital after a horror collision on a Scots road.

Yesterday at around 4.51pm emergency service workers raced to the Enterprise store on Rosslyn Street in Kirkcaldy after receiving reports of a young male being hit by a car.

An ambulance arrived within four minutes and took the youngster to Victoria Hospital in Fife. The driver of the car was uninjured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.55pm on Monday, 13 January 2025 police received a report of a male youth being struck by a car in Rosslyn Street, Kirkcaldy. Emergency services attended and he was taken by ambulance to hospital. The driver of the car was uninjured.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 16.51 on 13 January to attend an incident on Rosslyn Street, Kirkcaldy. An ambulance was dispatched, which arrived at the scene in four minutes. One patient was transported to the Victoria Hospital, Fife.”
