(Gray News) – There is a new number book on Amazon’s best-seller list, thanks to NFL player A.J. Brown.
The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver was spotted reading Jim Murphy’s “Inner Excellence: Train Your Mind for Extraordinary Performance and the Best Possible Life” on the sidelines during Sunday’s playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.
The book soon took the top spot on the Amazon trending list.
It turns out that Brown brings the book to every game. Sunday was just the first time cameras caught him reading it.
“I use it to refocus and lock in despite what may transpire in the game good or bad,” he said on X.
Some thought Brown was reading because he was frustrated.
“I wasn’t frustrated at all. I figured that’s what y’all probably thought,” he said. “Why do you always think I be frustrated? Dang. I like to read.”
Since the Eagles beat the Packers, Brown will have more reading time next Sunday when the Eagles host the Los Angeles Rams
