TAZEWELL COUNTY, Va. – The Tazewell County Commonwealth’s Attorney announced that a man from Tazewell County man will serve life in prison for crimes against children.
The Commonwealth’s Attorney said 47-year-old Jackie Lee McGlothlin, of Raven, was sentenced on Nov. 7, 2024, on the following charges:
- 1 count of aggravated sexual battery of a child under the age of thirteen
- 1 count of rape of a child under thirteen
- 3 counts of forcible sodomy of a child under thirteen
- 1 count of object sexual penetration of a child under thirteen
McGlothlin received five life terms, plus an additional 20-years to serve with no option for parole, the Commonwealth’s Attorney said.
