The Scottish Cup makes its return as Brechin City host Hearts under the lights in front of a sell-out crowd.
The Highland League table toppers can fall back on home comforts in Angus on Friday evening for this fourth round tie. The Hedgemen are in fine form winning five of their last six matches in all competitions, drawing the other. Among those was a 4-1 victory over Cowdenbeath in extra time in the last Scottish Cup round with Brad McKay the hat-trick hero. Celtic fans may see a familiar face in the City line up with former striker Cillian Sheridan plying his trade with the Angus club. He will hope to make a big impression and help cause a huge upset.
Hearts are in decent form themselves after a tricky start to the season. Neil Critchley’s men are unbeaten in their last four to give them a great shout of escaping the relegation spots. The currently reside in 11th place in the Premiership but sit only three points from Dundee in seventh place. A decent cup run will give Jambos fans something more to shout about – especially as Kye Rowles departed for DC United in recent days.
Record Sport tells you everything you need to know about this romantic Scottish Cup tie.

Kye Rowles departure to the MLS and DC United is a bitter blow but Zander Clark has signed a new deal. Neil Critchley may rotate the squad so the likes of Clark and Jamie McCart may get to start.
