WYTHEVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) – Wythe County Community Hospital held a celebration Wednesday afternoon for being nationally recognized for its patient safety.
The hospital recently earned the nation’s top distinction for patient safety with an “A” grade from the Leapfrog Group.
The honor acknowledges the efforts of caregivers to keep patients safe.
Physicians, hospital leaders and LifePoint Health officials joined at the Wytheville Meeting Center to celebrate the big accomplishment.
Hospital officials say they are proud to be recognized as one of the safest hospitals in America.
