With the festive period now a distant memory, many of us are trying to get back on track in the new year. From new exercise regimes to eating healthier, people across the country are making positive changes.
And it’s not just our bodies and minds we are trying to work on, lots of people are looking for ways to spruce up their home in 2025. While some people turn to renovation, others just want to give their place a good clean to freshen things up.
For those looking to blitz their home without too much fuss, a good vacuum cleaner is often top of the wish list. If you are in that category, then you’re in luck as Shark’s Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum has had its price slashed.

The top-of-the-range vacuum has had £70 cut from its usual £249.99, bringing it down to £179.99. And while this may still seem pricey, the Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum has been described by satisfied customers as “perfect” and left them wishing they’d “bought one sooner”.
Shark boast about the product’s Anti Hair Wrap technology, which “separates and removes long, short and pet hair from the brush-roll as you clean, sucking it straight up into the dust cup”. This means that the Shark Cordless Vacuum is ideal for pet owners or homes where a lot of hair drops to the floor.
The lightweight vacuum charges quickly, with the battery back able to be removed from the extensions and plugged into any socket in your home. When fully charged, the Shark Cordless Vacuum has a run time of 40 minutes and has battery light indicators to let you know how much juice is left.
It has carpet and hard floor modes, and you can easily switch between the two. It also has a boost trigger for extra power to suck up stubborn bits of dirt.
The vacuum’s flexible technology “bends so you don’t have to”, allowing you to get into those hard-to-reach areas. It also means the whole product folds away neatly so it can be stored without taking up as much space as a traditional vacuum.
The Shark Cordless Vacuum can effortlessly transform into a handheld cleaner, perfect for “cleaning stairs, soft furnishings, and in the car” as well allowing you to “easily clean up high and extend your reach behind furniture”. Shark is so confident you will be happy with the vacuum that they offer a free five-year guarantee.
And they aren’t wrong, as lots of satisfied customers said they “absolutely love” their Shark Cordless Vacuum. It boasts a 4.5-star rating on the Shark website, and has amassed over 1,000 five-star reviews.
One new owner wrote: “So happy with our new Shark. We bought it primarily to use on the stairs, and as a handheld it’s perfect. It really hugs the carpet pile and is shockingly good at pulling everything up. It was embarrassing to see how much hair and fluff it had collected.
“Battery life is great too. We have a two bedroom terraced house and we can do all the rooms and staircase on one charge easily. Really happy and wish we’d bought one sooner!”
Another person commented: “Absolutely love this lightweight hoover, detaches to do the stairs its brilliant.” While a third said: “This is a fantastic cleaner. It is quiet at the side of other cleaners picks up dirt you didn’t know was there, is easy to take apart to clean and also easy to empty.”
One pet owner added: “This is our second Shark hoover, absolutely love them, perfect for what we wanted; hoovering the bedroom and stairs. The boost makes all the difference in sucking up border collie hair.”
Not everyone was overly impressed, however. One customer wrote: “Too noisy and not enough dust bin space for me because I have two dogs at home.”
