CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey issued a proclamation on January 17 ordering flags to fly at full staff on Monday, January 20.
Morrisey said the order applies to the state capitol and all government buildings, and is in celebration of the inauguration of President Trump.
“West Virginians are excited to celebrate this historic day and welcome the transformational leadership of President Donald J. Trump,” said Governor Patrick Morrisey. “On Monday, we will unite and honor the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States by raising our flags.”
Flags will go back to half staff on January 21 to remember President Jimmy Carter.
