West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute are set to be battered by weekend winds up to 60mph as the Met Office issued a weather warning.
A yellow warning has been issued for a deep area of low pressure that will bring “very strong winds and some disruption”, according to the weather service.
The warning is in force from midnight on Friday until noon on Saturday.

The winds could cause some damage to buildings and bring power cuts.
Forecasters have said it could bring a risk of injury of danger to life as a result of from flying debris, as well as large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.
Public transport could also be hit, with delays and cancellations possible and public roads could become treacherous.
A Met Office forecaster said: “A deep area of low pressure is expected to pass close to or across the northwest of the UK on Friday and Saturday.
“It will bring a spell of very strong southeasterly to southwesterly winds with gusts reaching 50-60mph inland and 70-80mph along coasts – and perhaps higher than this in a few locations. The wind strength will gradually ease through Saturday from the south.”
The warning is in force in Perth and Kinross, Stirling, Moray, Dumfries and Galloway, Argyll and Bute, East Ayrshire, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow, Inverclyde, North Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire as well as Orkney, Na h-Eileanan Siar, the Highlands and in Northern Ireland.
